Dr. Balakrishnan Ramasamy

Dr. Balakrishnan R is an experienced Neurologist based in Coimbatore. He graduated from PSG Institute of Medical Sciences & Research (PSGIMSR). He then completed his post-graduation from Coimbatore Medical College for the MD (General Medicine) degree. Specialising in Neurology, Dr. Balakrishnan obtained the DM (Neuro) superspeciality degree from Madurai Medical College and the title of Diplomate of the National Board (DNB) in Neurology from the National Board of Examinations, New Delhi.

In medical practice since 2009, Dr. Balakrishnan is currently Professor and Head of the Department of Neurology at PSG Hospitals and PSGIMSR in Coimbatore. Experienced in all areas of Neurology, Dr. Balakrishnan is particularly proficient in the treatment of stroke, headache and immunological disorders. He has over 20 articles published in national and international journals.
